Strategy & Placemaking
Cleveland Lakefront (2003) - This proposal is a collaboration with Richardson Design focused on creating physical connections between downtown Cleveland and the Lakefront. Additionally, the plan creates 'centers of gravity' that bring organic activity to the lakefront, resulting in a memorable and human-scale experience. The plan was recognized by a panel of judges, who noted key focal points and that it could be phased in over time. Lakewood Park (2004) - This plan is a concept exploration designed to reorganize Lakewood Park (OH), which had been built-up over time, with no cohesive master plan. District of Design (2006-2010) - This economic development initiative was a collaboration with Ned Hill of Cleveland State University. The project focused on leveraging Northeast Ohio's extensive product development resources to create an innovation hub. Lakewood Common (2006) - This plan is a concept exploration in collaboration with Richardson Design. Lakewood Ohio created a new world-class library facility and this concept hoped to reinvent an adjacent site to create a cohesive town center. John Hay High School Gates (2006) - This is a concept proposal for an inspiring fence and gateways surrounding the renovated John Hay High School in Cleveland Ohio. West Campus Connector (2008) - This is a concept proposal intended to physically and conceptually connect the CWRU campus to an expansion site to the west.
