The cooler covers can be used to create a shelf, for added tabletop space. Additionally, the umbrella was designed to fold into the table support, removing a visual obstruction when not in use. Finally, the table include a metal table top (with magnetic place mats), a built in light and tilting chairs (2007). Jeep iJ Concept - This exercise is a reinterpretation of the Wrangler as a light-weight electric. Inspired by the original Jeep, the form was inspired by current light armored vehicles (2015). DEWALT Digital Tool Concept - This exercise was inspired by observations and interviews with contractors, who saw their smartphone as a critical tool in their work. The DEWALT Digital Tool is a rugged device that combines mobile communication (with improved speakers), with laser measuring/leveling and other common tools (2015). Modular Mobile Technology Platform Concept - This device is the mobile version of a 19in. electronics rack. Users would specify specific components based on their unique needs. The device could be selectively upgraded over time, creating a secondary component market (2011). The V80 is an eighty ounce slip cast ceramic vessel inspired by the work of American designer, ceramicist and artist Viktor Schreckengost. It is a limited run product that explores form and utility (2013).
